Sustainability
Our Green Approach
At UBC Convertec, we integrate sustainability into our daily operations and long-term decisions. We aim to reduce environmental impact through responsible materials, efficient processes, and continuous innovation. Our goal is to support customers with packaging solutions that are not only high-performing but also environmentally responsible.
Our responsible packaging strategy outlines a clear roadmap toward achieving our sustainability goals while helping our customers meet theirs. From energy-efficient production to recyclable materials, every step reflects our commitment to a circular, low-impact packaging system.
Key Sustainability Initiatives
Solar Power Integration:
A 600KW custom solar installation helps us save over 400 tonnes of carbon emissions annually, with expansion planned up to 1000KW.Energy Efficiency:
Through efficient machinery and process improvements, we have reduced electricity consumption by over 3%.Recyclable Materials:
Around 80% of the raw materials used in our offset cartons are recyclable or compostable, including paper, films, inks, and adhesives.Responsible Production:
We optimize waste reduction at every stage and encourage sustainable practices across the supply chain.
Recycling and Waste Reduction
Our waste management systems include recycling all paper waste and safely disposing of chemicals, helping us reduce our impact and support a cleaner industry. We continuously improve our processes to minimize waste and promote a circular economy.
